You did really well in varying the composition by using line as an advantage, no matter how subtle they echo through the picture. The fifth picture depicting the shadow and chair leg truly convey this method. There is a nice rule of thirds used to frame the scene and there is both horizontal and vertical lines interacting withing the composition. They divide both light and dark, creating the illusion of an ocean and a building. Beyond the horizon their is still darkness, implying the space to be infinite.
The last picture is really clever in depicting shelves and platforms with reflection. Not only does it balance value in the composition but also weight to both sides of the picture by the addition of these shapes. this picture depicts light as a physical material, connecting the cable wire and the pole to create a holographic platform and shelves respectfully. Both the naturalistic world and digital world exist within one plane at that moment of shooting.
The second to last photo has a pleasing value range as helped by the centered light effect and the smoky area at the top left. The camera effect is pleasing and will keep the viewer wondering what was happening during the shot. It has a great interest to it! On the other hand, the last photo has me a little muddled as to where I am supposed to be letting my eye rest. There is not much of a clear central subject to pay attention to, which has me wondering about the relationship between and the placement of the wire and the pole. The division and framing of elements could be better paid attention to next time, especially since the placement of the light squares is quite effective to create rhythm! Good job with value on all of them though!
