I think the way you used light and the effects you were able to achieve were really well executed.The compositions work well within the rule of thirds and most show a wide array of tonal values that are very rich. The seventh picture down really has an interesting amount of light play going on especially in the shadows and rays of light given off by the blinds.The lack of indoor lighting gives this picture a sense of stillness and the figure reads almost as a apparition. I'm interested to see whether you continue doing portraits or not. It's a cool concept to be capturing different stages of an activity by utilizing long exposure. It allows the picture to tell more than one event/story.
First off, it is clear that the cropping or focus of the first image doesn't do the subject quite justice. The exposure and choice of lighting are otherwise great, but the resulting resolution of the crop or poor focus is hurting the picture. I would love to see it reshot with more detail! Her portrait is better captured with detail in the third image, yet there may be lacking some bright light points to make the picture pop more. The back lighting behind her head is a great start, without it the picture may not succeed in the value arena at all. But pushing those brights will make your third and sixth pictures pop even better. Keep up the great portrait work!
